Ask For Strength, Not Mercy

When things get tough, the Stoic doesn’t fall to their knees and beg the gods to go easy on them. A Stoic doesn’t pray for mercy or ask for good luck. A Stoic asks for strength. And who do they ask for it from? From themselves.

You don’t need things to break your way today. You don’t need people to have pity on you. You just need the strength you already have, you need what’s already within you.
